My foam rollers over the years have done wonders to help with sore achy muscles.
WHAT IS A FOAM ROLLER?
There are a variety of forms of foam rollers but the most common are the: plain hard foam one and then one with knots/various grooves in it (like the one pictured).
The one pictured is the monster one that gets in the nooks and crannys, but the plain hard foam one is equally great and the better option for daily use.
WHY I USE A FOAM ROLLER?
Whether I’m working out or not I try to make time for foam rolling as it makes me feel good/reduces muscle soreness from day to day grind/less achy no matter what)
WHEN I USE A FOAM ROLLER?

Pre or post workout
Beginning or end of the day
I use a plain foam roller daily for general prevention, and the knot one (pictured) after workouts.
